From Bill Bouchard on May 24th, 2011

My wife had a weird sudden sharp pain in her kidney tonight. She was stuck in one position wincing in pain. I half jokingly said “Can I pray for you?” She nodded yeah so I laid a hand on her & went for it. She GOT HEALED!!! It was so cool! I thought her eyes were going to bulge out of her head. We were jumping around laughing and thanking God. Pretty cool! I guess God wants me to pray for my wife more.

Healing through Obedience

From Laura Verrill on Feb 16th, 2011

For the past 5 years I’ve had an annoying physical problem that needed an over the counter medicine to relieve it. About two months ago I started having abdominal cramps and I couldn’t figure out what was causing it. Then about 6 weeks ago someone prayed for me for the cramps and it occured to me to stop taking the OTC medicine. the cramps stopped and the original problem has NOT reoccured! I mentioned it to my doctor but she just shrugged her shoulders. PRAISE GOD for healing me from a physical problem that was not life threatening or extremely painful, but simply very annoying. I’ve also had people pray for my shoulder multiple times, which is slowly healing at a normal pace. (Thank God for how he has made our bodies to recover from injuries). I had been extremely discouraged because I hadn’t been able to swim because of the shoulder pain since last year (Feb 2010.) Specifically I could not do the back stroke at all, and some other stokes were sometimes painful. After receiveing much prayer and prompting from the Holy Spirit to take a step of faith, I decided to start swimming regularly, Just do whatever I could, even if I couldn’t do the full range of strokes that I did before. Within two weeks I was able to do the back stroke without any pain at all. PRAISE THE LORD! Now after swimming 15 weeks my blood sugar is back down to normal like it was before and I am no longer in the “diabetic” category.

Update – 4/20/11

Laura’s blood pressure is steadily lowering and she is using half of the blood pressure medicine she needed to before.  Yay God!

Prayer Walk Healing

•April 13, 2011 • Leave a Comment

Audra, Gemma, Dakota, Maryssa and I went on a prayer walk on Sunday and we prayed for someone and she was healed!  Her back had been hurting constantly for years and her hip randomly pops out of place.  So we prayed for 100% healing and it happened!  She said the pain was gone, for the first time in years!  She was almost in tears, hugging us and repeating, “Thank you guys, thank you.  Thank you! Thank you!!!” I was so happy!  I hope this miracle gives her a hunger for going to church regularly.  She is now attending on and off. Our God is soooooo good!

Shoulder pain healed

•March 30, 2011 • Leave a Comment

Jeff Padgett was playing ice hockey during February vacation with his boys. He fell on his right shoulder and had pain shooting down his arm and shoulder.   He could not sleep on his back due to the constant pain. He seemed to have all the symptoms of a rotator cuff tear. Physical therapy and ibuprofen only dulled the pain. He wondered how in the world he was going to travel to China in May?  How was he going to carry his new daughter? He made an appointment to see a doctor.  He got prayer at church for the shoulder. The pain now is totally gone and he cancelled his doctor’s appointment!!!

Nightmares NO MORE!

•March 14, 2011 • 1 Comment

I have suffered from horrific nightmares my whole life but more recently they had gotten worse and more frequent. At the end of service at church, they called up anyone who wants to be prayed over for any ailment …or struggles that you are having etc… I have been feeling this “calling” to go up now for about a month and all morning I was thinking I HAVE to go up. So as I stood there in front of Dick, my pastor, he passed back and forth and then stopped suddenly and as he looked right into my eyes he said who’s having nightmares?! I just started balling like a big baby and raised my hand high….he held me and prayed that the nightmares be banished and that I be healed. Let me tell you I had 5 or so people around me and I just felt them be lifted from me and taken away :) I was AMAZED as Dick told me that The Lord wanted me to be assured that He heard my prayer! Proclaim, ask, and you shall receive! Let me tell you, last night was the FIRST night I went without a nightmare in YEARS!  Thank the amazing Lord! I love Him!

Update 6/1/11 - I just wanted to point out that it has now been about 2 months and STILL NO NIGHTMARES! Thanks you Lord!

Teen Group FREEDOM!

•March 8, 2011 • Leave a Comment

I wasn’t feeling well all of Tuesday, but I decided to go to Teen Group anyway because I thought, “Well, maybe I could get prayer for it.” I was also carrying some unnecessary baggage with me and it was making me SUPER depressed. When Maggie and Gemma came up to me and asked if I wanted prayer, I said, “Yes please, I’m not feeling good and I think I should go home. But I don’t want to.” When Gemma placed her hand on me, it burned. And then the pain totally went away. Maggie was just filled with the Holy Spirit and praying freedom over me for things that she did not even know about! And then Erin joined them, and helped pray, too. It was amazing. When it was over, our group was bawling our eyes out. But then we just started laughing and were filled with AMAZING joy. It was awesome!! Thanks to God and the prayer of friends, I am pain-free and I feel light as a feather!!!!

Great News Club Salvations!

•October 2, 2010 • Leave a Comment

From Laura Vincent
Elm St School – 10/2/10

In our lesson at Great News Club yesterday we talked about the differences in God’s Kingdom, the kingdom of light and Satan’s kingdom, the kingdom of darkness. We also talked about what Jesus came to do, so that we can be a part of God’s Kingdom and some day be with Him forever. Toward the end of Great News Club the salvation invitation was given to our group of 28 children. They were asked to stand up if they would like to receive Jesus into their hearts. There were 19 children that stood up to pray. I noticed that two little boys were talking to each other so I stepped in behind them and sat on the chair. Immediately the 5 year-old boy (who was new to GNC yesterday) sat on my lap, cuddled in, folded his hands, bowed his head and prayed each word as the children were being led by Val Emery. When the children were finished praying the other little boy who was next to me said, “I did this before, but I really wanted to do it again.” Within that group of 19 children we know there are at least 14 of them that have not prayed with us at any other time. We know there was a party going on in Heaven yesterday afternoon! Just before we sent children out to their parents, there was a closing prayer. Isaac raised his hand and told us that while his eyes were closed he saw a picture. “I saw a cross that was laying down and across it there was a figure walking.” To us, it immediately spoke of Jesus and His making that way for God and man to be in relationship again, one way, through Jesus.

Kids Kamp 2010 – Week 1 Testimonies

Kids Kamp Testimony #1
From Alex Munsell:

I’d have to say that the highlight of the week for me was Thursday night, after Sonny got done with his message and the kids were asked if any of them would like to receive Jesus as their Saviour. There quite a few that did! We all just kept praying, and the Holy Spirit really did show up. I’ll bet I’m not alone in saying that God was working in an awesome way that night.

Among other things, I think one of the things God showed me was just how important every one of his children is, and that when we really seek him out, he answers.

As far as any changes in the kids go, I saw huge ones! One boy in particular, had been having real difficulties with depression and other difficulties. He was one of the kids that asked Jesus into his life, and during the last couple days, from what I saw most of that disappeared. There were several other kids who also were changed in really miraculous ways, and it was really amazing to watch.

Kids Kamp Testimony #2
From Laura Verrill:

We made frames for pictures of children from Costa Rica and Mozambique and then took turns praying for the children. I was so blessed as many of the children took a risk to pray out loud in front of the others for someone else less fortunate than themselves!

One little girl came to me in tears one day because someone had been mean to her and she had reacted badly by throwing something at the “mean girl”. I told her that the other girl may have issues at home that makes her sad and angry which makes her act that way, which isn’t right either. But I told this sweet little girl, next time she is frustrated to ask Jesus to help calm her, and such peace came over her! She nodded and said she would do that.

The campers were also so excited to tell me their testimonies of how Jesus touched them Thursday night! Two boys told me they accepted Jesus as their Savior and one boy felt called to go to places and be a witness for Jesus, God even gave him the map to draw out of where he would go!

On Saturday morning when their parents came for the closing program, they were not ashamed to go up and worship God, jumping up and down, glowing with the Holy spirit, and testifying to their parents through their actions that their lives had been touched!

Kids Kamp Testimony #3
From Cathering Casavant:

It was fun seeing girls blown away by the simple ideas–like christmas is jesus’ birthday…got to share the simple narrative of the life of Jesus and what he did for us.

Kids Kamp Testimony #4
From Mike Casavant:

Its amazing how much these kids grew in just a week! Watching the boys take care of one another and help each other was awesome – seeing the hunger in some of their eyes and hearts and having the opportunity to guide that was a blessing to me – looking forward to the next week!

Kids Kamp Testimony #5
From Nate Williams:

I would have to agree with all of the previous comments. I would also like to add how much God moved in unseen ways. I had kids who barely knew who Jesus was at the beginning of the week and ended up getting saved. I was very surprised to see that the little nightly devotion I did with my guys made a difference. God was my strength and eyes and ears one 100% and he definitely showed me the fruit of my labor!

Men’s Retreat Healing

•June 14, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Rob Harrington had been having an awful time with his breathing for the last several months. His lungs had been making crackling sounds at night as well as being short of breath on a regular basis. He was having a really hard time at the retreat, doing all the up hill walking. He received prayer on both Friday and Saturday night for this. PRAISE GOD! His lungs have been clear and he is no longer short of breath!
